Theatre Woodstock

Theatre Woodstock recognizes its volunteers

Barb Jasper and Dick Wijnker holding their Red Young Awards, Maria St. Laurent, pictured below, was honoured with the Lee Bennett Award.

Theatre Woodstock is pleased to announce that three of its volunteers have been selected to receive special recognition. Maria St. Laurent was chosen to become an Honorary Life Member of Theatre Woodstock and presented with the Lee Bennett Award to recognize over two decades of commitment and volunteerism. Maria has served on the Board of Directors on several occasions and has worked backstage on a great many shows, usually in the area of props. Theatre Woodstock's CAST Theatre Company recognized two volunteers by presenting them with the Red Young Award for their work on The Wizard of Oz. Dick Wijnker was recognized for his work with the set of this show and Barb Jasper for her work on costumes. Barb has been a great volunteer worker for Theatre Woodstock over many years working on costumes and with her talents in the kitchen for our Opening Night receptions. Theatre Woodstock is indeed fortunate to have these fine volunteers and many more who give time in many ways to make our community theatre so successful.
