Woodstock, Ontario- Media Personality, Marco Matern, is appointed as Publicity Chair on the Board at Theatre Woodstock.
Theatre Woodstock is a charitable organization that brings to Oxford County award winning, live theatre performances. Community support from Oxford County businesses and theatregoers alike allows TW to bring live theatre to the many ages found within their audience. The new, 2008/2009 production season begins with a new addition to the Theatre family. TW boasts not only amazing talent in their actors but also within their multi-talented appointed Board Members. Marco Matern is recognized through her years of hosting local television for Rogers TV and her community involvement. Known to many as a face in the media, she was recently appointed the prestigious position of Publicity Chair. She brings her Advertising and Communications experiences of twenty-five years to her position as Publicist offering her international business experience, print production knowledge and event management talents to this integral role. Marco will promote the four productions which will begin with Theatre Woodstock's first production, A Funny Thing Happened on The Way to the Forum, on October 16th, 2008.
Marco also contributes her time as a Committee Member for the City of Woodstock's, community program "Winter Lights" and runs her own Event Management & Promotions firm.
The Board welcomes Marco's enthusiasm and creative abilities to take them to the next level as they head into another exciting, theatre season.
